Choose Your Porsche Electric Powertrain

The Porsche Taycan comes standard with a single electric motor powered by a 79-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motor sits atop the rear axle, giving the vehicle rear-wheel drive. Using the launch control features, the entry-level Taycan delivers 402 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque.

The next trim, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, has all-wheel drive, a dual-motor powertrain, and a 93-kWh battery pack. This model has 469 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. To support the added horsepower, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has an adaptive air suspension and available active roll stabilization.

As shoppers move through the trims, they’ll notice the horsepower keeps increasing. The Taycan 4S comes with the 79-kWh battery for 522 horsepower or the 93-kWh battery for 562 horsepower.
