What’s New in the 2023 Porsche Panamera
The Family Sedan Only Porsche Could Produce
With a handful of luxuriously-appointed trims and several blazing-fast engines, the Porsche Panamera is a family sedan designed for discerning drivers. The 2023 Porsche Panamera configurations include four doors and four or five seats, making this speedy sedan a great choice for drivers who need more space than the 911 offers, but with the same performance technology.
The Porsche 911 might be the Porsche you want, but the Panamera is the one you need, and Porsche Tampa in Tampa, Florida is the best place to find both.
Blazing Speed with Hot Porsche Horsepower
While Porsche Panamera 2023 models have little variation in the cabin, they do have differences under the hood. All engine options deliver an exhilarating drive that only Porsche can provide, and they all deliver substantial horsepower and they all have an eight-speed automatic transmission. Most models have rear-wheel drive, but those with “4” in the trim name have all-wheel drive.
The Panamera begins with a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 tuned to deliver 325 horsepower. The Panamera 4S has the same engine, but it’s tuned to deliver 443 horsepower, as does the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition.
Porsche also offers plug-in hybrid models with even more horsepower. The Panamera 4 Hybrid adds an electric motor to the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 for 455 horsepower. Porsche puts the same powertrain in the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Platinum Edition. The automaker ups the horsepower to 552 in the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid trim.
The Porsche Panamera GTS has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 473 horsepower, sport exhaust, and a lowered suspension. This engine is also available in the GTS Sport Turismo trim.
For blazing speed, drivers can choose the Porsche Panamera Turbo S that takes the V8 to 620 horsepower. Drivers can also choose the Panamera Turbo S-E Hybrid with the V8 and an electric motor for a more fuel efficient 620 horsepower.
Super Luxury with Precision-Engineered Technology
Peeking into the Porsche Panamera reveals the super luxury features. The base trim has leather upholstery and heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a universal garage door opener.
The 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen provides access to wired Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, HD Radio, and ten speakers. Additional tech features include several USB ports, a power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The standard safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Traffic Sign Recognition, Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers, and a Rearview Camera.
Moving up one trim, the sports car gets ambient interior lighting, soft-closing doors, adaptive headlights, heated rear seats, and a 14-speaker Bose surround-sound system.
